Inquisitive exploration and creative expression have always been fundamental to the way I engage with the world. And a thoughtful eye for detail has served as a lens through which I do.
As a child living in the woods of Maine, a student of fine arts, a vocal performer, a progressive music educator, and lifelong photographer, contexts have varied but my intentional attention has remained a constant in my life and work.
Oftentimes the word “capture” is used to describe the moment a photographer takes their shot. My experience feels different. Moments capture me. And using my camera affords me opportunities to remember, re-encounter, and share them with others.
