Experiencing through exploration and discovery excites me. Always has. As a child living in the woods of Maine, a student of fine arts, a vocal performer, a progressive music educator, and lifelong photographer, contexts have varied but this intentional, attentional approach has remained a constant.
Oftentimes the word “capture” is used to describe the moment a photographer takes a photo. My photography experience feels different. I am captured by a moment and my camera gives me an opportunity to later remember and share it.
